Would you like to spend your professional career genuinely making a positive difference, helping the clients of one of the UK’s leading Financial Planning Firms?
A bit about us
Chamberlyns provides a refreshingly different Wealth Management service for executives, senior professionals and business owners, who want to make the most of their money and the life that lies ahead of them.
As one of only a handful of firms in the UK which holds both Corporate Chartered and Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM status, we have a proud and proven track record of helping our clients to make smart decisions about their money and minimise the stresses, risks and time burden of handling complex financial matters on their own. In turn, this helps to ensure our clients have more and better choices, as well as the energy and freedom to focus on everything in their lives which is more important than their money.
Chamberlyns continues to grow at a consistent and manageable pace, both organically and via acquisition, and seeks to deliver valuable advice, a high quality service and an enjoyable relationship, to both existing and future clients.
Accordingly, as a valued member of our small and close-knit team, you will be working predominantly from our modern, stylish offices, helping our experienced Chartered and Certified Financial Planners to deliver complex financial planning advice and wealth management services to our lovely and interesting clients.
Key responsibilities will include preparing for and playing an active part in client planning meetings; creating concise and well-written post-meeting summary documents and reports; liaising with clients and financial institutions and ensuring required actions to maintain the good order of our clients’ affairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
Depending on where you are on your journey, full support will be provided in helping you to acquire the highest levels of professional qualification, technical knowledge and real world application skills that Chamberlyns’ is known for. In addition, there is likely to be significant scope for career development and progression in the years ahead, reflecting both the standards we aspire to and the ambitions we harbour.
You may well have some professional experience, but more importantly, you will have, or be able to develop, the ability to deliver against the key responsibilities of a highly capable Paraplanner, including working directly and comfortably with both Financial Planners and clients, helping to create, maintain and evolve comprehensive Plans, constructing well-written reports and having a sound understanding of financial planning systems and processes.
An inquiring mind, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to think both logically and laterally will be very important in the role. Excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork ethic are pre-requisites, as are being polite, absolutely trustworthy and dependable. Emotional intelligence, a genuine desire to help others and an easy-going personality will also be a best fit with the culture at Chamberlyns.
If you feel that you share our values, standards and ambitions, please forward your CV via the form on this page, together with a brief message outlining your background and why you are interested in, and believe you would be well suited to, the role. The position is open immediately and the remuneration package negotiable, based on skills and experience.
