- only take on clients for whom we truly believe we can deliver value in excess of our fees
- ask good questions and really listen to the answers

- explain everything we think our clients need to know, in language they can understand
- treat our clients as we would wish to be treated in the hands of other professionals, to whom we were entrusting matters of the utmost importance
