Geoff was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and lived there for 18 years before moving permanently to the UK after his father retired from a senior role at the United Nations.

Early in his career he held corporate Financial Services roles, before going on to found an advisory business in 2003 and subsequently acquiring Chamberlyns with Michael Smith in 2009.

In addition to being a Chartered Financial Planner, Geoff holds the globally recognised Certified Financial Planner designation and is known amongst our clients for his personable nature, simple and clear explanations and relaxed approach.

Away from work he is a keen sports fan and was formerly captain of his school shooting team. He also loves motorbikes and cars and would love to race someday (just for fun!)

Geoff is married to Claire, a French/American, and has three beautiful girls; Charlotte (aged 9), Aurelia (aged 4) and Constance (aged 1).
